May 5, 2004

The Honorable James P. Moran
U.S House of Representatives
2239 Rayburn House Office Building
Washington, DC 20515-4608

Please be sure to NOT sponsor House Concurrent Resolution 298, which “expresses the sense of Congress that Federal obscenity laws should be vigorously enforced throughout the United States.”

As a civil libertarian, I oppose this government imposition on my freedom of expression. Don’t let the religious right impose their will on the rights of 270 million Americans. I didn’t spend six years in a Marine uniform to watch my own nation adopt the policies of failed totalitarian regimes.

Do the right thing and oppose this invasive, big government Resolution.

Sincerely,

James Landrith
