Associated Press on Tacoma Chief Shoots Wife Before Killing Himself, Police Say:
Tacoma Police Chief David Brame shot his estranged wife then killed himself Saturday, a day after the woman's allegations of abuse were publicized in media reports.
It's bad enough that he murdered his wife Crystal, but Chief Brame did this in view of his 8 and 5 year-old children. Couldn't he have done the honorable thing and killed himself ONLY out in some ditch or backwoods?
Unlike my family when my grandfather was murdered by a couple of punk-bitch thugs, Crystal Brame's family doesn't have anyone to send to prison for this despicable act. I can't imagine what those kids are feeling right now.
You can bet, however, that Sarah Brady and ilk, who usually run to take advantage of a family's grief after an act of gun violence won't have anything to say on this case. Unlike this story from May 2000, there aren't any old ladies for her folks to disparage.
A few years back, one of the two men who murdered my grandfather had been paroled. (Strangely enough, my grandfather is still dead.) Shortly after his release (to make way for more potsmokers, don't you know), he decided to stop by my grandmother's house. She has guns. My uncle who lived next door has guns. He hasn't come back. Make the connection Sarah. When only cops and criminals have guns, then only cops and criminals are safe.
