I’ve recently received a few emails from Dehaven, one half of Olio, a group that bills themselves as “too funk for rock too rock for funk.” Further they believe in abolition of racial categorization and address that issue in the song “Hey Champ” on their new release Colour of Music. Ya’ll already know my take on the scourge of racial categorization.

olio just released a new single “here we go” that is a fun, high energy, rock/hip hop collaboration with a group called young crew. You can hear it at http://www.myspace.com/olio it will be on itunes in a couple of weeks. We’re pitching it to the NFL. Recording a new album now called “living the dream” really having fun with it.
