NBC 10 News on “Former competitive cheerleading coach faces child molestation charges”
East Providence police said Monday that Cranston police arrested a former cheerleading coach accused of child molestation.
Police said in a release that 33-year-old Alyshia Tkacs faces five counts of first-degree child molestation and two counts of second-degree child molestation.
Investigators said Tkacs was a coach for a competitive cheerleading organization and that the accuser met her in 2012. Police did not name the organization.
When I started doing advocacy work that included highlighting female predators, I was told “women don’t abuse”, “it is more gentle”, “you can’t get pregnant if a woman rapes you so that is less detrimental” and other fucked up, batshit claims from CREDENTIALED ADVOCATES and the usual smug online activists with a Tumblr meme level of subject matter expertise.
A (not so much now) high profile female leader in MST circles tried to silence me as well, going so far as to send her lil acolytes my way. She eventually blocked me and had them do the same when she couldn’t shut me up. Never mind that I’d been doing sexual violence related advocacy work far longer. Ego + ideology = inflexible stupidity. This particular MST movement bully is awfully quiet and inactive these days, while I do this work professionally for an enormous chunk of the Corps. She does exactly jack and shit at the moment, despite telling me I was too thin-skinned for this work. I endured THOUSANDS of hateful comments about my own experience with rape on a single CNN article, not to mention in various other media outlets. She couldn’t take a single disagreeing comment from me before she snapped. Funny how things work out. Then, one of her acolytes asked me to help him get a job. Dude, really?
Anyway, back to business. The woman named in this article was both a nurse and a cheerleading coach. She had access to children as a health care provider and a coach. Toxic White Feminism (TM) teaches that she is not a threat, ‘cuz genitalia and that female predators are “gentle”. In reality, these zealots help cover it up by coddling abusers with debunked claims of harsher sentences (literally made the fuck up by radfem extremists on Twitter) or by silencing victims because their existence is not convenient.
This woman was abusing a girl for years before getting caught. Damage was done, despite what Toxic White Feminists would have you believe with regard to female predators. Perhaps you assholes can muster up enough integrity now to give a shit, maybe just this once. Pretty please? Is it okay to lock her up?
