Oh, Pardon My Boot on Your Head, I’m Protecting and Serving You to Death (You’re Welcome)

So, apparently you can point a loaded weapon at a man's head, violently throw him on the pavement, break his ribs and kick him repeatedly IN THE HEAD and not lose your job – even if the guy is suffering through insulin shock.

If you are a cop in Nevada.  Patting themselves on the back for belatedly recognizing that cops should not to be inhumane shitheads, Henderson Police said the following:

As a result of this incident and the internal investigation, Henderson Police Jutta Chambers ordered a closer look at the training Henderson officers receive. The training on use of force techniques was subsequently modified. These changes were implemented during 2011 and the Henderson Police Department has subsequently seen a 30 percent reduction in total use of force incidents from 567 in 2010 to 396 in 2011.

The mark of a good organization is the ability to take a look at any situation as an opportunity to improve. The Henderson Police Department is committed to ensuring the men and women of our department are held to the highest standard.

The mark of a good organization?  Fucking really?  REALLY?  No.  The mark of a good organization is recognizing that you have given guns, badges and bucketfuls of authority to men and women who aren't mentally and emotionally capable of distinguishing between a violent criminal and a man who is going into insulin shock.  Not to mention being completely incapable of knowing instinctively that you should not beat and threaten such people instead of doing the professional and grownup thing, like, oh, um, maybe rendering assistance?

Then, doing something the fuck real about it.

This is your police state America.  This is what happens when you militarize police departments, look the other way while police officers are turned into demigods, and lionize those who abuse and kill your neighbors – just so you can "feel" a little safer for five minutes.  Now, whatcha gonna do about it?
