12/1/2008 Issue of The Multiracial Activist

Friends,

Due to burnout, personal issues and lack of time, it has been a long time since I published a new issue of The Multiracial Activist and The Abolitionist Examiner. That is going to change as of 12/1/2008.

I am looking for contributions related to multiracial identity, interracial marriage, transracial adoption, President-Elect Obama, anti-racism efforts, miscellaneous advocacy efforts, etc. The next issue will go live on 12/1/2008, assuming there are enough pieces ready for publication at that time.

There are no constraints on length as TMA and TAE have plenty of server space. As always, commentaries, investigative reporting, poetry, book excerpts, etc. are acceptable for submission. There has NEVER been a requirement for a particular political or racial identification for authors appearing in the TMA/TAE pages and that will remain the case so long as I am running things.

Prior authors of note include Mark Mathabane, C. Loring Brace, Yehudi Webster, Kevin Johnson, Emily Monroy, Charles Ash, Daniel McNeil, Amatai Etzioni, Donna Lamb, A.D. Powell, Patrice Farmer and Nokwisa Yona.

I am not looking for a particular perspective, just well-written content related to the topics mentioned above or similar themes.

Let me know if you are interested and what topic you’ll cover. Feel free to forward this to other interested parties.

Thank you.
