Leach Internet Gambling Ban Will Become Law

From a press release issued by the House Committee on Financial Services

"This morning, by a vote of 409 to 2, the U.S. House of Representatives approved legislation to be signed by the President that would prevent the use of credit cards and fund transfers for unlawful Internet gambling and block financial transactions associated with illegal gambling. Similar legislation was first introduced in the 106th Congress by then Banking and Financial Services Committee Chairman James A. Leach (IA), and has been approved by the House in the past two Congresses."

Wow – here is a Republican doing their typical Republican best to control voluntary social interactions – at the behest of religious conservatives.

And yet we (libertarians) are all Republicans according to Eric Dondero Rittberg.

Excuse me while I go vomit.
