The text below is my response to a stupid-ass challenge by Roderick T. Beaman, one of the loudest mouthed, ego-fragile libertarian discussion group participants I’ve ever seen. It seems Mr. Beaman is all mad at me and stuff and is actually challenging me to a genuine, beat each other up in a parking lot brawl. Or perhaps he wishes a fight to the death? Who knows with this guy? On a side note, I did get a chuckle at his use of “dirty arrogant bastard”. Of course, Old Dirty Bastard was already taken. So I get to be the Dirty Arrogant Bastard. Hmmph – I guess it will grow on me…
My Response to Mr. Beaman’s childish attempt at inciting me to participate in his little brawl:
You are kidding, right? You are actually so childish and your beliefs so flimsy as to be incapable of serious scrutiny, that you are willing to resort to violence in response to having your very strongly worded arguments picked apart?
Having had a family member murdered, I don’t do that stupid high school-esque beating each other up thing. Apparently, a good Creator believing individual (unlike me), has a different moral compass by which to guide himself. However, I will answer physical aggression and initiation of force toward me or my family with every weapon at my disposal. If you come at me looking to do physical damage, I will respond with all the force I can bring to bear. And I will not stop until you have been neutralized as a threat – how ever long that takes – and whatever the end result. That is not a threat – it is a warning. If you initiate force or cause force to be initiated against me or my family, you will be dealt with in accordance with my own adherence to the Zero Aggression Principle.
Unbelievable, Mr. Beaman just joined the illustrious list of people who wish to inflict physical violence on my person. I wonder, how does it feel for him to now be in the company of white supremacist Tom Metzger, and countless anonymous Aryan Nation and black nationalist wannabes? And what does me being a Marine have to do with your inability to handle a fierce debate here? By the way, what would your Creator say about your jump to inciting violence when your words and beliefs are aggressively challenged in a debate?
