The Church will be performing at The Birchmere on March 5. Excellent. I missed the Gold Afternoon Fix tour when it hit North Carolina near Camp Lejeune. Been kicking myself ever since. I won't be missing this one.
UPDATE: Dug the concert immensely – even more so, since I've never been able to catch them live before due to work, military service, etc. A great set! Another Church fan has created a webpage for each stop on their current tour. The March 5 show is available here.
You’ve got to be kidding. The Church is still around? I saw them play at Ohio University in 1988.
In the same vein: Colin Hay will be at the Iota Feb. 23.
Its funny you should mention Colin Hay. My wife’s a big fan. I got her a copy of “Contraband: The Best of Men at Work” for Valentine’s Day.
