I’m a Customer, Not a Donor

From a poster at Your-Site Members Forum:

To all whiners…

Who complain about YS service.

Let's remember that most of us are not paying very much for a pretty damn good service. I'm sure that many of you checked out multiple hosting options, and settled on your-site because you couldn't believe what was offered for $5 a month.

If you pay for a product, regardless of the amount you pay, you are entitled to the product for which you paid. This is capitalism, not social charity. My $5.00 a month may seem trivial to some, but it is still my $5.00. I am trading that money for a specific service. This is not a donation in hopes of some service. It is a payment for a specific set of options and provisions.

Spewing forth with childish insults like "whiners" is irrelevant noise. People have a right to complain when a service they purchase, for whatever cost, fails to live up to its promises in any capacity. I am quite happy with this service 95% of the time. That said, as a paying customer – not a donor, I reserve the right to complain when it fails to deliver.
