Supes express opposition to racial-data proposition

The Santa Maria Times on Supes express opposition to racial-data proposition:

A controversial statewide proposition to end government collection of racial data was opposed Tuesday by the Santa Barbara County Board of Supervisors.

The vote to oppose Proposition 54 on the Oct. 7 ballot was 3-1, with the three supervisors representing the South Coast – Naomi Schwartz, Susan Rose and Gail Marshall – in the majority.
