The fight over race has always been a heated topic across the world and now it will be fought here in California. Prop 54 is generating its own thunderclouds in an already stormy election.
Proposition 54 is based on a premise in which most Americans say we believe: that ours should be a colorblind society. And yet, on a sunny Thursday afternoon, people with a decidedly liberal political viewpoint gather in front of san francisco city hall in spirited opposition.
