It seems that Glenn Reynolds is playing the "you shook a dicator's hand" card on Chirac. By now I suspect nearly everyone in the blogosphere has seen the photo of Rumsfeld making nice with Saddam in 1983. Will Glenn Reynolds apply the same amount of sarcastic disdain for Rummy too? Or is his disdain reserved only for those who hold differing opinions? It ain't like Saddam only recently became a brutal dictator…

I can’t believe that anyone cares anymore what Glenn Reynolds has to say.
He’s degenerated into the Rush Limbaugh of blogging — he’s found that the cheap shots, lame jokes, and flimsy logic get him the most attention from the Stupid Right.

Actually, that’s an excellent reason to keep an eye on Glenn, and to hand out regular smack-downs. He’s a very dishonest man with a large audience, just like Rush. His opinion will be broadcast to a lot of minds, just like Rush. It can become the conventional wisdom, just like Rush.
