Equality

Thomas Sowell on Random thoughts:

Trying to explain inequality is like trying to explain why people don't flap their arms and fly. There was never any reason to expect people to fly and there was never any reason to expect people's performances to be equal, when there are innumerable influences at work differently for each individual and group.

Unfortunately, we are no longer worried about creating opportunity. It's all about the outcome, as if an individual shouldn't be responsible for their actions when given the chance to sink or swim. Equality is a myth conceived in a collectivist Hell. Don't confuse opportunity with outcome. For those who don't know the difference, there is no hope for you.
