Dear Senators Warner and Allen:

An amendment may be offered to the Treasury-Postal appropriations bill that would prohibit the Treasury Department from allowing banks to offer real estate brokerage and management services. This anti-competitive, anti-consumer amendment should be defeated.

I strongly urge you to oppose this amendment. Also, I ask that you contact your colleagues on the Senate Appropriations Committee and urge them to defeat this amendment, if offered. Thank you for you consideration of my request.

Sincerely,

James Landrith
