Too dangerous to keep, too fragile to let go

I've been feeling really, really nostalgic lately. Tonight, for instance, I pulled my copy of The Church's video collection "Goldfish" out of the recesses of my entertainment center.

It got me thinking about the last 15 years and where it's all gone. One minute you're in high school, the next you've got a "high and tight" and you're in uniform at Camp Lejeune, hanging out with The Village Idiots. Damn, where did all those guys go? The next thing you know, you're out of uniform, and married with two kids and a lot of debt.

I think that Starfish and Gold Afternoon Fix are going to be in my tape deck all week. Let's hope that it doesn't get so bad that I pull out the Siouxsie.
