Interracial dating, God said no

From Nicole Mullins of the Indiana Statesman – Interracial dating should be embraced, isn't sinful:

It was brought to my attention that Preacher Larry — you know, the one who serenades us out by the Fountain and Commons — was giving a sermon outside Mills Hall just the other day on a topic I thought most of us had gotten past. It definitely wasn't the kind of sermon you would think he would be making on a diverse campus such as this, and what is even more is amazing that he chose to do it in front of Mills Hall, a place where many blacks like to gather and talk. He actually had the nerve to say that interracial dating is against the Bible.

Uh-oh, Preacher Larry said that God said it, so in usual fundamentalist style you are required to shut off your brain and submit to His will. The debate is over. What was Nicole thinking? Defending the free will of people to date whoever they want. The nerve of that girl, thinking that people should have some individual rights…

For the record, I support Preacher Larry's right to say what he said. I am a libertarian after all. However, unlike many conservatives, I also support Nicole's right to say he's completely full of shit. Of course, ya'll know that I'm agnostic, so don't bother telling me I'm going to Hell. I already kinda don't maybe know better.
