Activist Rape Apologists

Since 2008, I’ve told my story to millions via various broadcast, print, and internet media. I’ve also spoken on several college campuses and military bases, among other locations. Following every presentation or training where I told my own story about being raped by a likely serial female rapist, I heard from others with similar experiences. So many women who were raped or abused by other women shared their stories with me over the years. More than once I was witness to someone breaking their silence for the first time.

You know who silenced or shamed those survivors the most for speaking out? Activists who saw discussion of female predators as a distraction from “real rape”. You know, the same activists who targeted me and attempted to shut me up.

When ideologically obsessed activists mock or trivialize male survivors who were raped by women, they are siding with sexual predators who also hurt women. Exactly how does that help women? It doesn’t.
