Inappropriate Sexual Reactions
As a male survivor of a female rapist, perverse sexual reactions have become an expected nuisance:
- Women have asked if I and my rapist orgasmed – and how. Seriously, they wanted details. No, it was not academic.
- Men have called me “lucky” and wished it happened to them.
- A female colleague was sexually aroused and wanted to “recreate” my rape with me. Yeah. What the fuck.
- A female friend said she didn’t realize I was into “freaky stuff” after reading about my rape.
- I’ve been asked about my penis and her vagina.
- One woman wanted to know if my rapist orgasmed solely from my penis inside her. Fucking hell.
Sadly, this has been my reality since breaking my silence in 2008.
