Drug Facilitated Sexual Assault:
- Alcohol and drugs fall under this category of sexual assault.
- Memory is affected and victims often cannot recall key details.
- Perpetrators often use a victim’s memory gaps as an alibi.
- Realization of a sexual assault may come days or weeks later.
- Some substances may not be detected in blood or urine specimens.
