The thing about that bit of victim-shaming is that I didn’t become promiscuous until after she raped me. Then, I spiraled out of control.
- She’s married? Okay.
- She’s 20 years older? Cool. Cool. Cool.
- She’s abusive? Fine. Why not.
- She’s just using me? I must deserve that.
