Lol, there is an extremely toxic female figure within MST advocacy circles who has done this to me several times over the last 9 years. She told me that because I was raped by a woman that I should not be involved in sexual violence advocacy, nor should female perpetration be allowed to be included in advocacy or service delivery. Bruh, I’ve told my story to CNN, PBS’ To The Contrary, HuffPost Live, filmed a PSA for the DoD Safe Helpline, participated in several online survivor educational series projects, spoke before the Military Sexual Assault Prevention Caucus in Congress and been quoted or mentioned in countless articles, blogs, books and dissertations.
For several years, I worked on and then was a senior manager for the DoD Safe Helpline. Later, I was the first official recruiter for the National Sexual Assault Hotline and the DoD Safe Helpline. Now, I run one of the military’s largest SAPR programs, overseeing SARCs on several Marine, Army, Navy and Air Force bases across North America and Hawaii. You can bet that I demand inclusivity and services for all survivors, regardless of gender identity of the victim or subject.
She is entitled and batshit crazy, but keeps unblocking me to be creepy.
Hey Colleen!!!
