I’ve talked previously about my female rapist. I’ve not talked much about a form of sexual assault that is often downplayed or dismissed – groping.
When my (then) girlfriend’s bestie groped me repeatedly by grabbing my ass, forcing erections on me with her hands by grabbing and rubbing on my crotch, and “accidentally” smashing her breasts in my face at random, I knew not to say anything. Disclosing this type of behavior plays out negatively for the person on the receiving end of it:
- People find it sexy and cute when a woman does it.
- Men are shamed on all sides for not finding it “hot”.
- Radfem extremists find it “fair play” to teach men about consent.
- Girlfriends and spouses rush to assume the man must have wanted it and is being unfaithful, same as when a woman is a rapist.
I asked Donna to stop, she was my (then) girlfriend’s bestie on campus. She laughed and knew that if I told my girlfriend, I would be the one catching hell. Also, since she was always commenting on my tight jeans when grabbing me, she had a ready excuse. It was safer to do nothing and just put up with it.
