Funeral service for Ivy S. Watson was June 28, 2013 at James & Gahr Mortuary, Salem Chapel, with Ken Fiebelman officiating.
Interment was in the Empire Cemetery in Gladden.
Mrs. Watson was born January 15, 1948 in Pekin, Illinois to Toler and Ethel (White) Lutz. She married Leonard Watson and they were the parents of three sons. Mrs. Watson died June 20, 2013 in St. James, at the age of 65 years, 5 months, and 5 days.
Survivors include children, Steve Watson and wife, Benita of Salem, Chris Watson and wife, Misty of St. James; brothers, Dale Lutz of Vermont, Ill.; Charles Lutz of Industry, Ill.; Donald Lutz and wife, Rosie of Vermont, Ill.; sisters, Beatrice Landrith and husband, James of Pekin, Ill.; Eleanor Williammee of Rushville, Ill.; grandchildren, Drew Hale and Derek Hale; a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Preceding her in death were her parents and husband; son, Casey Watson; brother, Norman Gene Lutz; sisters, Vera Mae Shults and Margie Hayes; and one infant brother.
She had her own quilting business out of her house and enjoyed crocheting, cooking, camping, and swimming.
