This website, formerly located at moviesthattrigger.com, has been relaunched here using the Joomla CMS. I decided to put this resource back online as I believe it to be a vital source of information for survivors of rape and sexual abuse. If you are the founder of the prior and now offline website, please understand that I have attempted to contact you to no avail. If you take issue with me re-launching the website, please – reach out and talk to me. I have reposted it and expanded upon the original content as a tribute to your prior work. Thank you.
UPDATE: The founder of the prior version of this website has given her blessing for the work to continue. She is welcome to contribute her ideas and content any time she pleases.
Seriously? Now the entertainment field has to hold survivors’ hands? I’m a survivor and this is totally over kill. If a suvivor is going to be fucking triggered by a movie, then don’t go see it. DUH! It’s called common sense. This pisses me off b/c it gives the public the impression that survivors are frail and weak. This is so not true. I’m really disappointed in you James for working with this. You should know better than anyone else that survivors are strong, vibant people who have been through Hell & lived to tell about it.

What the fuck are you going on about Rachel? No one said that. You completely made that up. Why do you think that those survivors WHO WANT SUCH A RESOURCE should be forbidden from using it???
No one is demanding anything from “the entertainment field” This is run by VOLUNTEERS and made available to those WHO WANT IT. No one is being coerced to do anything. JFC Rachel, you cannot possibly be this fucking stupid. Get help. Now.
