I was invited to be the guest on today's podcast episode of Voices of Hope, produced by Hope For Healing. From the show's website:
"Voices of Hope is THE SHOW on educate and empower victims of seuxal and domestic violence. We have had nationally recognized speakers, advocates, experts, authors and survivors who have shared their experiences. Hope for Healing.Org is a501c3 nonprofit dedicated to turning victims into survivors. Listen Voices of Hope on Monday nights at 8pm and Tuesdays at 12 Noon (eastern)."
The podcast went well and I was able to mention the URLs for several of my preferred healing resources during the show. The general focus of today's show centered around male survivors of rape and sexual abuse and the limited resources available to same. In spite of nervously repeating myself a few times in places, the podcast went well. While I've spoken about sexual assualt several times before audiences consisting of college and high school students, it is always difficult to discuss. I'll get a little more polished over time.
The recording is now archived at Blog Talk Radio and is available fromt iTunes as well. The Blog Talk Radio archive is available here:

Thank you to Gayle at Hope For Healing and the listeners who emailed questions during the program. In addition, I'd like to thank all of the survivors and secondaries who've contacted me with their own stories and support whenever and wherever I've chosen to break the silence.
You did a great job in articulating the need for more resources for men who are survivors. I think others will find this segment of Voices of Hope to be inspiring and helpful!
The information was very eye opening and I learned so much from the show. Thanks James! Thanks Gayle!
