Well, at least one Fairfax County School Board member will not be returning to the dais in 2008. from the Fairfax County Times:
Democrat Janet Oleszek, elected as an at-large member of the school board in 2003, is gearing up for the race.
"I believe the district has been sorely represented for too long," Oleszek, 59, said.
Republican Sen. Ken Cuccinelli, 38, has kept his seat since 2002 when he beat school board member Kathy Belter in a special election.
He said he takes Oleszek's run "seriously" and hopes issues will be well discussed in the 2007 race since there is a "pretty clear contrast" between them.
Looks like this is an opportunity for the Board to recruit some new blood. I hear this Landrith guy is running…

Good luck in the race, James!

Thank Heidi. It looks like the Times may have archived that story. I’ve edited the link to point to another source.
