Associated Press on Bomb kills U.S. soldier, Iraqi interpreter:
A roadside bomb exploded near a U.S. military convoy in north Baghdad today, killing an American soldier and his Iraqi interpreter. Three other members of the 1st Armored Division were injured, and the U.S. military credited an Iraqi bystander with saving one of their lives.
The bombing, which hit two Humvees, brought to 152 the number of U.S. troops killed in action since the March 20 start of war — five more than during the 1991 Gulf War.
This is called guerilla warfare folks. Some of us anti-war types told ya'll that this would happen. Now start paying attention as the death toll rises almost daily. Our men and women are continuing to pay a unncessary price on the ground while the chickenhawks and armchair warriors continue to sit on their pompous asses. Ya'll should be ashamed.
