CBC News on Stonehenge mystery solved: it's a girl:
England's ancient Stonehenge monument resembles a female fertility symbol, Canadian researchers say.
Viewed from above, the pattern of stones resembles the female genitalia, according to Anthony Perks, a retired professor of obstetrics and gynecology at the University of British Columbia.
I don't think I can buy this explanation, but at least its original.
Might one be forgiven for speculating that Professor Perks is projecting his area of expertise onto the site, and then seeing what he expects to see?

Yes…
But on the other hand Dr. Anthony Perksd’ “area of expertise” may well have helped him to see something very real that other less “expert” eyes may well have missed. Dr. Perks’ Stonehenge theory is worthy of being taken quite seriously by the scientific community and further investigated. Let’s not forget that the Journal of the Royal Society of Medicine saw fit to publish his research… If he is right his theory sheds new light on ancient humanity’s cultural heritage.
You don’t have to be a gynecologist to see a gigantic vulva here –

and it’s not that far from Stonehenge…
Read my letter to the editors of Britain’s ‘The Observer’ newspaper, exposing and denouncing the clearly gratuitous and also quite spurious nature of “expert” archaeologist David Miles’ irresponsible dismissal of Dr. Perks’ entirely plausible Stonehenge theory here –

Dr. Anthony Perks controversial theory that Stonehenge was designed to symbolically represent a vulva when viewed by an “Eye in the Sky”…

is now available online, as it was published in a short article in the Journal of the Royal Society of Medicine in February 2003, in Abobe Acrobat pdf file format here –

I highly recommend reading the complete article and looking at the pictures it shows before coming to any final conclusions about the “Vagina Monoliths”… 😉

My new “Web Sight” that is dedicated to providing the public with truthful and accurate information about Dr. Anthony Perks’ new theory that Stonehenge may have been designed to symbolically represent the vulva of an “Earth Goddess” when viewed from the sky, in order to counteract the abundance of misconceptions, misinformation, and possible disinformation, that is now on the internet, is taking form here –

Besides providing accurate information about what Dr. Perks new Stonehenge theory actually says, this new “web sight” will present my own personal knowledge and insights that arise from my extensive research into how the religious beliefs and “mythology” of ancient humanity were profoundly influenced by both solar and lunar eclipse phenomena and will explain how these ancient religious beliefs inspired by ancient, and even prehistoric, eclipses of the sun and the moon almost certainly relate to Dr. Anthony Perks controversial theory that Stonehenge symbolically represents the vulva of an “Earth Goddess”.
