The email response below to one of my old editorials on transracial adoption which was extremely critical of the National Association of Black Social Workers reveals much about the average "race is everything" mindset. Although Ms. Mayes doesn't mention RPI, it's quite obvious what she would think about it. I tire of racialists trying to enlighten me with hyper-emotive nonsense masquerading as ultimate truth. I may just start answering their responses with an H.L. Mencken classic: "You may be right" and leave it at that. Who has the time to deal with all these delusionals walking amongst us? I feel like I've been unplugged from The Matrix and most of the world is still believing the lie, specifically folks like Mayes.
