Don't look now, but you could have some spring visitors moving into your home. Because of the 10-plus inches of rain the Nashville area has received so far in May, ants are seeking higher ground through any nook and cranny they can find.
Over here in Northern Virginia, my house is under assault by spiders every spring and fall. They're everywhere. They come in the front doors, the back door and the windows too. Although, ants usually come in greater numbers and run straight for the kitchen, I'll take them over these damned spiders anyday. I can handle any other kind of insect you can through at me, except these eight legged intruders. Call me a wus. I'll wear the label proudly.
Just keep the frigging spiders away please.
