R. Lee Wrights, editor of Liberty for All on The Peace War: It's All About Marketing:
Waging war in the name of peace sounds so noble; so honorable; so irresistibly righteous that it is bound to solicit the support of the people. Right? While it may sound "friendly" to say we are waging war in the name of peace, the whole concept is totally void of intellectual honesty. It just sounds ridiculous to say we are waging a war to preserve the peace; and yet, people gobble up this political propaganda as if it were the latest fashion from Paris or the most recent addition to Nike's line of basketball shoes. Even though it makes no sense at all to kill people in order to teach them it is wrong to kill people, Americans seem to believe it is a workable strategy. Millions of individuals have bought a worthless bill of goods from political hucksters so that they may feel secure in their own self-righteousness about supporting a war for world peace. They have embraced a lie and made it theirs.
And the ignorant sheep seem prepared to embrace further war in Syria and Iran. Pissing off millions has always brought peace and security before. Yep, nothing wrong with that plan…
