Rep Ron Paul, while technically a Republican will be doing his libertarian best at an appearance before the University of Colorado at Boulder's Campus Libertarians tonight at 8:00 pm. If you're in the area, check it out.
Unlike the emotive pro-war crowd, he'll stick to logic, law and the Constitution. Dr. No will be breaking it down and explaining why this war was unConstitutional and anti-thetical to libertarianism.
I've long been an admirer of Dr. Paul. The Wall Street Journal (no liberal rag by any means) described Paul in a March 10 story:
Ron Paul is a political iconoclast who takes his libertarian ideology seriously. He's a cheerful advocate of all sorts of unpopular causes like abolishing the federal minimum wage and returning to the gold standard.
