I found a link for a new coalition called Veterans for Common Sense. Their motto is: "We, veterans of the Gulf War, seek to inject common sense into the debate over a possible U.S. war against Iraq by placing the debate in the context of protecting our liberty, constitutional values and our freedom."
A little commonsense in this debate with a heavy dash of consistency would be nice too. After we go to Iraq and play nation-builder, will Bush's next target be a place that doesn't have oil? I wonder. There are several dozen countries that have dreadful dictators, weapons of mass destruction and hostility for the West. One of them is on the U.N. Security Council. But do they have oil? Nope, so we won't be going to war with them….
