Most are lured by lies and many, sadly, are lured by less-than-noble reasons. Few if any consider the horrors inflicted on the rest of the world (and even on the US and its people and environment) to GET those goodies. Some people come here because they actualy believe it’s a constitutional democracy!Imagine.
Oh, by the way…many not so much want to immigrate here for the above reasons but to hide under the red, white and blue skirts of the corporate/military monster that devastated the country they are driven from for their survival.
One more thing… Public (?) Broadcasting in the US has lots of nice, wonderful and valid things on the air just as the US may have lots of nice, wonderful things. Most despicable entities surround themselves with camouflage like that. Wouldn’t get away with what they do otherwise. To use an extreme example, the nice, classic Wagner music doesn’t cause many to say, well…at least the 3rd Reich liked nice tunes. Gotta peek behind that curtain.
