A judge ordered that the ballot summary for Proposition 54 be changed, saying it does not accurately portray the measure's potential effect on medical research.
It is interesting that this story only points out the single minor change in wording ordered by judge after the lawsuit. The AP completely omitted the fact that 90% of the lawsuit (which sought to make substantial changes to nearly every paragraph of the ballot description) was rejected. That isn't bad reporting. That's slanted and biased reporting. The bureau chief should be ashamed.
