New Scientist on Blog Blockage

New Scientist on China blocks bloggers' sites:

State control of the internet in China may have found a new target with many "bloggers" unable to update their web journals, apparently because of government restrictions.

The website Blogger.com lets users build and maintain customised blogs and claims to have over one million subscribers. Blogs created through the service can be hosted though a sister site called Blogspot.com. According to bloggers living in China, access to this site was cut off by China's notorious national firewall on 8 January.

This is, of course, old news, but it's interesting that New Scientist decided to cover it.
